We bought some new church clothes for Isak yesterday. He got new shirt, tie, pants, socks, and shoes so this kid is set for a while. The tie didn't stay on so well because Isak has a rather large neck which makes it difficult to button his shirt all the way up. I was half hoping these new clothes would somehow make him more reverent in church but that of course did not happen. 2 more months until nursery and we can hardly wait. The pictures aren't that great because when Isak sees me taking a picture he immediately starts to run for the camera and I have to be quick. His pants got dirty about 5 seconds after getting to church so the car seat picture was the best I could do, when he was strapped down and tired. Doesn't he look so much older? Sigh.

Well Isak looks just like the rest of us did growing up and it is actually still how we look now after church tired and ready for a nap.

aww he's really looking big!! So you'd think that since you're at church you'd be able to put the nice clothes on and have them stay that way for at least 3 hours out of a week, right? Ya, um doesn't really happen... when Josh started nursery he would come home with playdough ground into his good pants and marker on his shirts. The effort is futile.
