These are just some pictures from the last week. Lucy is growing like a weed and it makes me sad, didn't anyone tell her they are suppose to stay little forever? A friend of mine gave me all of her baby girl clothes since they are all done having kids so Lucy has LOTS of clothes.
We've recently moved Isak out of his highchair to sit on the barstool at the island and he has yet to fall off and hit his head which I am just waiting to happen. He really likes it and eats more when up there, I think it makes him feel important.

We're going to Rexburg this Weekend to bless Lucy with her cousin conner who was born about a week after her. It will be fun to see everyone and show off our crazy kids.
I love this picture...he was upset about something and I caught him at just the right moment.

The below video..Kevin got me a big clock for our wall as an early birthday present and it came packed in lots of styrofoam. Apparently Isak Loves styrofoam and my carpet does not. He played with it for a good day before I threw it all away. I'm still vacuuming up bits and finding it all over the house.

My crazy kids

Today was a little crazy. We went to church, so we were there physically, but we didn't get to do much listening. I think Isak just realized that his little sister is here to stay and I don't think he likes it too much. We're going to start "practicing" sitting still at home evenings and during the week so maybe he can do better during sacrament and Kevin and I might actually get to enjoy church! And Isak had a melt down during nursery despite the fact that Kevin was in there with him (for the 2nd week in a row) so we left the last hour with two crying kids. I think we are going to take two cars next week so at least one of us can stay the whole time. But he can be very charming when he wants to be. This kid has an affinity for vacuumn cleaners and toothbrushes, so weird. He demands I vacuumn at least once a day and would prefer more often. He then likes to see what's in the suction container from the dirt it picked up before we throw it away. He also loves to try to spread toothpaste on toothbrushes and will chew on the toothbrush. I find them randomly all over the house and unfortunately have found mine on more than one occasion on the floor or garbage. We go through a lot of toothbrushes.

Happy Birthday, To You!

Monday was Lucy's one month birthday. When Isak turned one month, we stuck a candle in a hostess cupcake and took a picture and sang to him. Than we ate the cupcake. We decided this was a tradition, as well as a great excuse to buy cupcakes, and did it with Lucy as well. We did two cupcakes this time because Isak was also there and didn't want to miss out on the fun.

So lucy obviously couldn't enjoy hers, but Isak dug right in.

And then Isak decided to help her out. One for each hand, right?

And then he was having a great time. Don't worry, we didn't let him eat both cupcakes.

Art Time

Seriously, this is how the day has gone.
Isak learned how to eat markers, I suppose it was just a matter of time. I looked away for literally 30 secs and this is what looked up at me. I'm guessing next it will be lucy who will be decorated. We always said to draw on the paper, I guess we never addressed the self-art thing. Crazy kid.

Zoo Day

We took Isak to the zoo yesterday, we bought an annual pass so now we can go all year! It was really fun and they just put in a new "Africa" exhibit that has lions, zebras, giraffes, elephants and other creatures found in Africa. Isak loved the penguins and we were there right at feeding time so we got to see all the penguins being fed their fish

Isak really loved the cement look alike animals they had outside the exhibits. I'm pretty sure he thought they were real.

I
Lucy in her very cute sunday outfit and Isak at my brother's houseplaying with the cats...
I'm not sure who was more entertained by the light, Isak or the cats.

We have survived another week and Lucy is getting bigger by the second. I'm beginning to think that my milk is really cream and that my children grow at an abnormal rate. Can I just have one of my babies stay litle for more than a few months? Isak was 14 pounds at two months and 17 at 4 months. Lucy appears to be on the fast track as well. I'm just trying to enjoy every minute and take as many pictures as I can. We took Isak to the zoo yesterday and had a lot of fun. And we got to go on a date last night courtesy of my brother and sister-in-law who were wonderful enough to watch the kids.
